Warfarin Basics

This continuing education course provides you with the following warfarin concepts: Indications; Required lab work; Administration; Signs of bleeding/clotting; Notification requirements; and Food and drug interactions.  It's important to understand how warfarin works, why it is prescribed, what to monitor during usage, and other general information.  If your resident(s) take warfarin (also known as Coumadin), you should be well-versed on this medication.
